Description
Summary:In Sao Paulo, some non-traditional families are articulating in favor of LGBT rights. With surnames such as D'Matthah, Vallentyne Lawinny, Mad Queen, Lobos or Stronger, these families are groups made up of LGBT youth and adolescents from the periphery, who decided to unite not because of blood ties, but because of affection and the desire to conquer the public space without fear, without feeling discriminated. The origin of each family varies. Dating back to the mid-2000s, they now bring together hundreds of members, mostly between 16 and 20 years old, who divide into the roles of father, mother, son or daughter. The series intends to reveal the profile of each of these groups of young people and teenagers. Five families will be portrayed, focusing on three of their members.
Episode 3: Conheça a Mad Queen, a família mais nova e ostentação da série, com um nome que inspira realeza. Criada há apenas um ano, seus membros são príncipes, lordes, duques e imperatrizes. À frente da corte, o rei Luís, que trabalhou na noite como Flávia Caldeirão e hoje comanda, além da família, um terreiro de quimbanda. Entenda como sua vivência de pai de santo orienta os membros e o percurso da Mad Queen, repleto de rolês como o Viados de Salto; acompanhe o príncipe Luan, braço direito de Luís, se virando nos bicos de porteiro e segurança; e descubra Fernando, que também já foi da noite, mas mesmo deixando pra trás essa vivência nada fácil decidiu nunca abandonar a imperatriz Lytssa Capetini, sua encarnação feminina, uma das drags da família.
