Description
Summary:What are the issues involved in being at the cutting edge of ICT development in secondary schools? In this programme, a group of teachers and advisors from the 'Personalised Learning with ICT 1 & 2' programmes, join Bernie Zakary from BECTA to discuss their experiences of using ICT to deliver personalised learning. Taking their cue from clips of the previous programmes, the panel debate the pros and cons of risk-taking, the potential conflicts between personalised learning and formal assessment and the impact ICT initiatives can have on teacher workloads. The panel agree that there's still a long way to go, but it's clear that teacher and pupil behaviour is changing and schools need to adapt to make the best of the new technologies.
