In this programme, teacher Janice Dykes bases her lesson on a story of a Madagascan lemu which contains repetitive sequences of narrative. Janice encourages the children to join in with the French narrative and add actions as she reads the story to her class. As they become familiar with the story and vocabulary, the pupils gain the confidence to then work in groups and write their own short story based on the same format, and add their own actions.
