In Chandalar, Glenn Villeneuve hikes through the Brooks Range in search of his canoe that he buried 3 years ago, but melting river ice will force him to swim through freezing waters to reach his destination. In Eagle, Andy Bassich learns a new skill and builds a kayak to hunt and fish with along the Yukon River this spring.
