| Summary: | We open with Charlottesville, Virginia. Trump's America. 12TH August 2017. Patrik Hermannson has infiltrated Neo-Nazi and right wing extremist groups on both sides of the Atlantic. We flashback to the beginning of Patrik's incredible journey in London. Armed with a secret camera and a huge amount of courage, he begins to infiltrate the Alt-Right. Patrik begins his mission by creating a false online identity as Erik Hellberg, a right- wing student. We now follow Patrik as he forms a close bond with Stead Steadman who unwittingly becomes the key enabler for the infiltration. Patrik is invited to a dinner where he meets key alt-right figures. We learn how the Alt-right are specifically targeting disaffected young white men in the hope that they will become soldiers in the fight against Liberalism. Patrik invited to the Alt-Right North- West forum. Patrik's paranoia over being exposed is heightened by his increased vulnerability in the US but continues to pursue his mission regardless. Patrik heads to Charlottesville to take part in the "Unite The Right" demonstration. We end with Patrik who tries to explain his journey and also revealing his growing anxiety about the next chapter of his life- what will happen when he comes out from undercover? This film shows one brave young man's year trying to show the Alt-right for what they really are. White supremacists for the digital age, organized, dangerous and determined to change western society.
