Description
Summary:Heart Disease : #1 health risk in women. One in four women in the United States will die of heart disease. Not enough research on heart disease that focuses on women has been conducted. Many women, and even their health care providers, don't realize heart disease is a woman's number one health threat. Women are less likely than men to be diagnosed and treated appropriately for heart disease because the patient and healthcare provider have not been educated on the prevelence of heart disease in women and the fact women experience different symptoms than men.
