Summary:	This film takes us to Chișinău, capital of Moldova, formerly part of the Soviet Union but since 1991 an independent republic sandwiched between Romania and the Ukraine. Here we are introduced to a Moldovan woman named Lidija and her Japanese husband Masato who run an unusual wedding agency which matches Moldovan women with men from Japan. We also follow the story of Nadia and Xenia who are preparing for their weddings and a new life with their Japanese suitors.
