Summary:Reel 1, the body of John P. Mitchel is escorted through New York City by Theodore Roosevelt and others to Woodlawn Cemetery in 1918. The bodies of Alexander Graham Bell (1922), Adm. Matthew Calbraith Perry (1920), and Gen. William Crawford Gorgas (1920) are borne through Washington, D.C., streets to Arlington National Cemetery and Interred there. Sec. of the Navy Josephus Daniels attends Perry's funeral. Reel 2, the bodies of Gens. Miles (1925), Wood (1927), Dickman (1927), and Scott (1924); and Floyd Bennett (1928) are carried to Arlington in processions. Salutes are fired over the graves.
