| Summary: | The University of Hertfordshire places emphasis on the importance of maintaining a good relationship with their NQTs post-qualification. An organised session called "Thinking Space" allows students to return to the university, to discuss their opinions and concerns with other NQTs and tutors. Concerns are addressed with a system developed to give NQTs tools to reflect upon their practice, called "Discover, Deepen and Do". This allows them to analyse and find solutions to dilemmas before they turn into major issues. The session demonstrates how NQTs need to be able to meet each other to share problems and solutions. The University have developed the scheme so that students who attend can gain accreditation towards their masters. |
