Summary:Ben heads to a secret location in the USA's Appalachian Mountains to live with forest dweller, Tod Kershaw and his own wild community. Ben finds out why his host, a former engineer, stripped away all the complications of modernity for a life in the woods with his own rules; amongst a tribe who scavenge other peoples' waste. Home for the week is one of the most basic he's stayed in, a 'stick-shack', but Ben embraces life in the woods, making fires, digging clay for pots, processing bear and foraging.
