She demonstrates how to engage a 19 year old Latina client whose two children were removed from her care due to neglect, by accepting her initial resistance to what she feels is interference in her family, and identifying and utilizing the strengths in the client, her system, and the community to develop a case plan that meets both protective services and client goals. |
