Description
Summary:In this film, community leaders and young people in Fiji talk about the challenges they face as they negotiate traditional culture and contemporary society. Topics include crime and the lack of opportunities. Young people say their biggest frustration is the feeling that they are not understood. Some turn to crime as they get frustrated with limited opportunities in an increasingly cash-based economy. They find themselves in prison with no counselling or rehabilitation programmes. Their wish, though, is to become productive, valued members of society.
