Description
Summary:In 1995, the fashion spotlight landed on Antonio Berardi. Initially dubbed "the next John Galliano," Berardi has created a name for himself by injecting a sense of his Italian heritage into his work. While his earliest collections were often infused with religious symbolism that is a result of his Roman Catholic upbringing, Berardi's signature almost always retains a certain sex appeal. Though he got his start in London, Berardi presented his collections in Milan for many years before making a triumphant return to the London Fashion Week calendar in Spring 2010. Since then, Berardi has remained a UK headliner, while broadening his design aesthetic, expanding his customer base, and dressing some of the world's most glamorous women, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Kidman, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
