Initially dubbed "the next John Galliano," Berardi has created a name for himself by injecting a sense of his Italian heritage into his work. While his earliest collections were often infused with religious symbolism that is a result of his Roman Catholic upbringing, Berardi's signature almost always retains a certain sex appeal.
