Summary:Wallis, a French island in the Pacific, is marked by tavaka, a push felt by islanders to go somewhere else. Today, the island faces depopulation. These inhabitants, particularly the young, leave, attracted by modern living towards the wealthy New Caledonia to work, study and improve their standards of living. Sosefo, a young Caledonian, returns to his native country and roots whilst others in Caledonia question their identity.
