Description
Summary:This is a short film on the need to protect seabirds in the Ringgold Isles in Fiji. In August 2008, the biggest rat eradication exercise was conducted in the Fiji Islands, covering several islands in the North of Fiji known as Ringgold Islands. Located to the northeast of Taveuni, the Ringgold Islands hold internationally important numbers of breeding seabirds which were suffering predation from rats, which ate eggs and nestlings. The Pacific Way Crew together with Birdlife International takes a trip to Fiji's remotest island in Naqelelevu to document the life of this very remote community and the islands habitat.
