Chile Whale Fossils- In the hills of Chile, students on a school field trip recently made an unexpected discovery. Their biology excursion turned up fossilised remains of whales, believed to be 5 million years old. The find included fossilised jawbones, backbones and ribs of four whales in an area that geologists say was once part of the sea bed. Ethical Gold- This colourful shop in the heart of London's Notting Hill specialises in hand-crafted gold jewelry. Gold is one of the most treasured and beautiful materials on the planet but, as with diamonds, mining companies often use unethical methods that abuse human rights and the environment. Kenya Charcoal- In the rolling hill country of Kaskeyu, around one hundred kilometres south of Nairobi, live Some of Kenya's most traditional people. The Akambas live now much as their people have for centuries. But concerns about their environment have them reevaluating and changing their way of life. Rare Tiger Cub- At the David Tang tiger breeding centre in South Africa, this tiger may not look particularly excited, but certainly humans are. A rare South China Tiger cub was recently born here, fit and healthy. GM Fuels- The words 'green' and 'Hummer' aren't usually heard together unless you're talking paint colour. But general motors converted this Hummer H2 to run on hydrogen fuel. Californian governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger used it at the opening of a new fuelling station, another addition to California's 'Hydrogen Highway'.
