Description
Summary:Filmmaker Marc Isaacs spends 6 months outside Highbury Magistrates Court in London as he takes an intimate look at the lives of those passing through the legal system. On the street outside the court, he speaks to armed robbers, long-term thieves, addicts and anxious relatives all awaiting judgement. Whilst waiting for their fates to be decided, they reveal their lives and the complexities of the human soul are laid bare. The more we get to know the characters in the film, the harder it is to make easy judgements. Whilst the court must judge, the filmmaker need not.
