Description
Summary:Across the world weather is changing. But depending on where one happens to live, the changes have very different consequences. The programme travels through three different continents to show how global warming is experienced on a personal level. In India Surinder lost his wife and only son in a flood. Together with 350,000 others he is stuck in a mud hole with all his belongings gone. In drought-ridden Malawi Valentina starves, while struggling to feed her children on a small piece of land. In Denmark, however, the young farmers Lars and Dorte are now able to grow corn in the warm weather, thereby saving a lot of money on cattle feed. Climate change is not an evil everywhere and paradoxically the countries responsible for polluting the atmosphere often are not the ones suffering the worst consequences.
