Summary:	CPD trainer Deborah Herridge introduces an exciting practical exercise which will assist teachers in not only using the Science APP criteria but also to relate Science to a History topic. Deborah reveals to a group of Primary Science teachers how a tomato can be mummified, using a similar technique to the method employed by the Ancient Egyptians, for today's Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils. The changes to the fruit can then be recorded over the next few weeks, enabling teachers to cover the APP criteria for Observing and Measuring over time.
