Description
Summary:The role of the TA and HLTA has been described as helper and from this video you will see that both roles require skills and qualifications and a professional approach which are much more than being a helper. I have been with Cleeve School since September 2005 and have progressed quickly to the status I now hold. The school has been incredibly supportive of my wanting to gain new skills and move on and in turn I have shown them that I am dedicated to my job. I am looking forward to gaining the Teacher of Dyslexia status later in the year to enable me to broaden my horizons even more. I love working with SEN and learning skills and wouldn't swap it for anything as the job is so rewarding and the children often find that something they didn't know when they walked into the classroom, they do know when they walk out of the classroom at the end of the lesson.
