Description
Summary:Six subjects are taught in one cross-curricla lesson, by one teacher under the title Creative Literacy. Over the course of the academic year, Year 7 pupils take part in ten lessons per week which are delivered in this way. In a similar style, Year 8 pupils are taught Logical Thinking . Assistant headteacher, Gary Begusch, has condensed the subjects so the students learn literacy, communication, reading and writing skills through different themes. With this new curriculum the core content is being taught, however teachers are encouraged to bring in as much creativity in the way that content is delivered. At the heart of the lessons is enjoyment, and seeking help from creative consultants, ensures the teacher gets the right balance.
