Flutist Emily Beynon plays Rimsky Korsakov's the Flight of the Bumble Bee and the 2nd movement of Jacques Ibert's Flute Concerto. Shostakovich's Festive Overture in A Op. 96 and Ave Maria by Giulio Caccini follow. Then the Hilliard Ensemble performs Saphire by Piers Hellawell and In Hydraulis by Antoine Busnois. Rebecca Evans concludes with Je veux vivre from Romeo and Juliet by Charles Gounod.
