| Summary: | Dom Haydn-Davies, Lecturer in PE at Roehampton University, conducts a session which is one in a series where final year students with a specialism in primary PE consider how they can improve their practice. They are asked to identify an issue, a concern or technique that they feel needs focused development and to refine a question in relation to how they can improve this through study. This session includes a practical workshop which focuses on trying out practical solutions to the issues. These range from trying to put theory into practice or exploring different ways of approaching a problem. Issues might include supporting talented performers, behaviour management, ensuring safe but challenging environments, and social construction of learning within PE. |
