Performances of modern music accompany and illustrate these talks. On this program the conversation concerns the responsibilities of the conductor, the architecture of concert halls, added rehearsal time needed for modern music, new or different orchestra personnel needed for new music. Pieces performed: "Valentine" by Druckman, "Eclat" by Boulez.
