| Summary: | A group of the UK's leading experts in genetics, medics and bioethics discuss how genomic research may help in understanding personality and behaviour traits. The understanding of genetic knowledge has changed dramatically over the past three decades with the ability to investigate a person's entire genetic sequence. Dr Ralph Levinson, from the Institute of Education, chairs a discussion with Professors Steve Jones, Jane Worthington, Dian Donnai and John Harris about whether an increased knowledge of genomes will help scientists to understand human personality and behaviour. This video has been produced with Teachers TV as part of the Nowgen Schools Genomics Programme. Educational resources are currently being developed to support teaching and learning using this video. They will be available here in late September 2010. |
