Description
Abstract:Sosso, Eva and Helen are three talented and successful women. With their strong personalities, you might think that these are typical modern women, had it not been for one small detail: their height. In this touching documentary we meet three very different women, all with the same disability: they are all no more than a meter tall. In their world standing out can mean exclusion, yet these women talk without self-pity about their lives as they grew up in the Swedish countryside in the 1970's. They tell us how even ordinary tasks can be a struggle for them, but show that their desire to overcome them is so forceful, that no hurdle is too great, be it diving or driving, playing the drums or dating. These women share with us their views on life, on love and the world around them. They tell us about how it is to be different, but more importantly, they teach us the lesson that they have had to learn: don't be afraid of being different, just LIVE.
