The case is set in 2021 at the time when COVID-19 lockdowns were in place in the city of Pune, India. In order to cater to growing urbanisation by implementing mass rapid transport systems, the construction of rail networks in metropolitan cities has been a top priority for the Government of India. The Pune Metro rail project is one such attempt by the government to provide an efficient public transport system to enable safe, quick, and convenient movement of people within the city. |
