Patricia knows the homicide rate is important, but feels that it can wait until after Christmas. As she and the other reporters congregate for their assignment meeting, Patricia feels compelled to find a way to pitch that sharing Christmas spirit can be just as newsworthy as reporting violent crime, an idea which she knows might receive pushback.
