The case is part of the EU Horizon 2020 Smart City project RUGGEDISED, in which Rotterdam is one of the lighthouse cities. This project aims to develop and implement smart solutions in the field of energy, e-mobility, and ICT to create smart, resilient cities. The overall goals of the RUGGEDISED project are to improve the quality of life of citizens, to reduce the environmental impacts of activities, and to create a stimulating environment for sustainable economic development. The case has been tested in an educational setting and further improved. |
