Nonetheless, and after a long stance against an ad-supported model, Netflix decided to adopt the model as a new source of revenue to compensate for its losses in subscriber market share and sustain an upward trend in revenue growth. Students apply the fundamental ratio, common size, and trend analysis to assess Netflix's current and prospective metrics and conclude on the uncertainty surrounding Netflix's revenue growth and market position as a result of the imminent threat of Disney+.
