Summary:Kalyani, an employee of MaxVal, one of the top IT companies in India, has been given the task of recruiting highly qualified candidates with expertise in programming languages such as Node.js, Golang, and Java and in the design and architecture of key components of software systems. She contacted Mangalam, who seemed a perfect fit for the role. After several rounds of interviews, the company decided to make an offer to Mangalam. However, before an offer is made, both parties have to negotiate the terms of employment for several benefit categories, which include salary, work model, team allocation, notice period, learning and development opportunities, vacation time, time until first performance review, and insurance. Each of these benefit categories has several options, and Kalyani has to reach an agreement with Mangalam on each one of these categories. In order to effectively negotiate, Kalyani decided to assign points to each option for each category. The outcome in case of some items gives a positive result, whereas in the case of others it gives a negative result. Her objective in this negotiation is to maximize her gain and minimize loss. But how?
