Description
Summary:The case centres on a crisis that embroiled Huawei, a Chinese telecommunications company. In 2013, Swiss police raided Huawei's Swiss headquarters and found a number of individuals, who only possessed tourist visas and were thus working at the company illegally. Additionally, before the raid, Huawei had been criticised for the poor working conditions of its workers in Switzerland. Part one of this three part case series narrates the history of Huawei and its rise to success as well as the response to the police raid both from Huawei and its customers.
