The dataset is a subset of data derived from the 2012 Global Health Observatory data from the World Health Organization, and the example presents an analysis of whether a country's International Health Regulation (IHR) score on food safety predicts its average life expectancy at the age of 60. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide, a Student Guide, and a How-to Guide for Stata. The Student Guide and data curation were done by the Odum Institute, and the How-to Guide was co-authored by Abigail-Kate Reid and Nick Allum.
