This case study looks at my experience of conducting the middle phase of my PhD, a thematic analysis of 16 semi-structured interviews with care workers and other health care professionals, on the facilitators and barriers to communicating with people with dementia. In this case study, I discuss some of the challenges I experienced when attempting to organize and conduct interviews, I describe choices I made in my methodology and why these particular choices were made, and I also share some of the lessons I learned throughout the process. |
