| Summary: | The research discussed within this case study was undertaken within a UK Higher Education Institution over a 5-year period and focused on the role of feedback in aiding learning progression. The research methodology used for the project was Action Research, as the research focused entirely on my role as a lecturer, my teaching practice, assessment methods, and how the feedback I provide students aids their academic progression. This case study details the way in which I developed my research and how I changed my approach from in-class Action Research to online in the final year of the research. This change of approach was necessary due to the COVID lockdowns enforced throughout the UK. In this case study, I explain and evaluate the issues I encountered during the research process, with particular reference to overcoming the challenges in recruiting student participants using online methods. |
