Description
Summary:Focus group research is a qualitative research technique that brings a small group of participants together for an in-depth, guided conversation about topics of interest. The coronavirus pandemic has necessitated that those wishing to utilize focus group methodology develop research strategies that shift focus groups from in-person, face-to-face environments to the virtual world. In this case study, we describe some of the lessons we learned as we designed and administered a research project that made this transition. At the end of this case study, readers will be equipped to conduct successful focus groups within a virtual environment.
