| Summary: | The aim of this case study is to present the adapted research design and provide a comparison between on-site and online data collection techniques when measuring the satisfaction of spectators at an event. In doing so, we will try to show that online data collection techniques are sometimes more appropriate for measuring the satisfaction of spectators of an event than the conventional and more commonly used on-site data collection techniques. In this case study, on-site and online surveys will be compared, especially from the data collection point of view. We will demonstrate how contact details can be collected on-site to facilitate a post-event online survey and what the advantages of this approach are. At the end of this case study, you will have some new insights on how to conduct an online survey for measuring the satisfaction of customers. |
