Description
Summary:This dataset is designed for teaching Poisson Regression. The dataset is a subset of data derived from the 2013 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) operated by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, and the example presents an analysis of the number of servings of fruit per day respondents report eating as a function of gender, income, education, and whether or not they reported being physically active in the previous 30 days. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide, a Student Guide, and a How-to Guide for Stata. The Student Guide and data curation was done by the Odum Institute; the How-to Guide was coauthored by Abigail-Kate Reid and Nick Allum.
