| Summary: | This dataset is designed for teaching thematic analysis when working with qualitative data. Relevant data are provided by Dr. Elisa Orofino, research fellow and lecturer in Police and Counter-Terrorism at Anglia Ruskin University (Chelmsford, UK). More precisely, data used for this study were collected during Dr. Orofino's fieldwork in Australia and the UK between 2015 and 2016. Her study focuses on how Islamist groups attract members in the West and how they shape the interpretative frames of their members, assuring their long-term loyalty. The dataset files are accompanied by a Teaching Guide and a Student Guide. |
