Description
Summary:This dataset presents interview transcripts derived from a qualitative study of a vulnerable group in a culturally and socially sensitive context in The Gambia. It discusses the use of content analysis as a research technique in qualitative research which, in this particular study, involved a process that began from generating interview data to interpretations prepared from transcripts which were coded and textually analysed. Content analysis is one of the several qualitative methods available for analysing data and interpreting its meaning. It was used in this study to enhance the task of a qualitative researcher, one of which is to organise and make sense of the data. The dataset files are accompanied by a Teaching Guide and a Student Guide.
