Description
Summary:The project described in this case study was developed to understand straight-to-work young adult adoption and use of health technology. This case study highlights the process we used to develop the research project, the challenges we encountered as we implemented the project, and how we adjusted our research design to solve the challenges we faced. We focus specifically on our recruitment and data collection methods and how we shifted our project from traditional qualitative techniques to using online techniques. The lessons we learned in developing and implementing this research project can help other health researchers to expand their reach through online recruitment and data collection. In addition, researchers interested in young adults and hard-to-reach populations may find our experiences particularly useful.
