Description
Summary:In this case study, I provide the details of my research, including the purpose of the study, the research participants, and my methodological choice to complete my study, "Somali-Canadian Women: Historical Past of Survival and Facing Everyday Challenges of Resettlement." My intention for this study was to capture the personal insights of Somali-Canadian women within a context of forced migration and resettlement. In this case study, I provide a window into my research journey while exploring a method that fits both the cultural and methodological requirements needed to bring out the hidden voices of this marginalized and vulnerable group of women.
