Description
Summary:This work introduces paired samples t-tests. This method allows researchers to compare the means of two variables measured on the same individuals or sample elements to evaluate whether the means for those variables are statistically significantly different from each other or not. For example, you may wish to assess whether an intervention aimed at reducing alcohol consumption has a significant impact. A paired samples t-test might be used to assess pre (t1) and post (t2) intervention alcohol consumption. This technique builds on the single mean t-test and the difference in means t-test.
