| Summary: | Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) remains a common behavioral disorder affecting school children globally. Teachers, along with the family, are one of the most important agents of socialization during infancy, so they are one of the most suitable groups to receive information and training concerning ADHD. The Knowledge of Attention Deficit Disorders Scale (KADDS) is one of the most widely used instruments to assess the level of ADHD knowledge among teachers and is the first instrument whose indices of reliability and validity were published in this field. However, most of the studies that have been conducted to examine teachers' knowledge of ADHD in Ghana used other instruments. This case study provides insights into how knowledge of ADHD was assessed among 120 teachers using the KADDS. |
