Summary:	We utilized content analysis to examine the presentation of relationship violence within the four Twilight books. Given their popularity, especially among teen girls, we believe it is important to identify both the obvious and subtle messages these books offer concerning dating violence. The results of our analysis reveal many examples of behaviors and attitudes conducive to dating violence, including cases of physical and sexual abuse, stalking, threats, and intimidation. Given that this book series has been praised for its 'wholesome' presentation of teen romance, these are troubling findings.
