Vol. iv (1911) of the edition ends at f. 247 b, color ii. In parts, however, the text represents a different recension from that from which Sommer prints. Cf. also Ward, Cat. of Romances, i,p. 350. One leaf is missing at the beginning and another after f. 6. The first words are: 'Trebe et dist a son seigneur que mult a Claudas parle a lui'. Part ii (f. 247 b, color ii) beg. 'Ore dist li contes que quant Ogreuains fui partis de ses compainons'; ends imperfectly 'si li auint un iour quil chiualchoit soi quart par une forest et estoit en la terre' (Paris edition, 1513, volume ii, folio cxix). Vellum; following 294. 117/8 in. x 9 inches Late XIII-early XIV century Double columns of 48 or 47 lines. Gatherings of 8 leaves (i wants two, vii4, viii2, ix6, xi3, xiv6, xvii6, xxi4, xxii6, xxv6, xl, xli4, xlii5). Sec. folio (now f. 1) 'trebe et dist'. Initials flourished in blue and red or red and green. Cat. of 1666, f. 11 b; not in CMA.
