Item Description:	The initials of the French translator correspond with those of Louis Truquet, Lyonnois; see Palau y Dulcet. and Brunet. Adams supplies Lyon, France as place of publication, although de Tournes who edited, did the Italian translation for and published this work left Lyon for Geneva in 1585; see E.H.A. Gaullieur. Études sur la typographie genevoise du XVe au XIXe siècles et sur l'introduction de l'imprimerie en Suisse (Nieuwkoop: B. de Graaf, 1971), page 212. Signatures: [dagger]⁴ A-Z⁸ a-l⁸ m⁴. Woodcuts: de Tournes' device on last page, featuring an angel within interlaced loops of ribbon bearing motto "Art en son Dieu" (anagram of their name "De Tornasius"; see Gaullieur, page 214); small ornamental initials. Texts printed in three different types: Spanish text in roman, French text in civilité, and Italian text in italic type. Spanish and French arranged vertically in parallel columns, with Italian arranged horizontally across lower portion of page.
