Summary:Pictorial map showing where characters from famous German fairytales 'lived' including the Town Musician of Bremen and the Pied Piper of Hamelin, the forest where Little Red Riding Hood picked flowers, Snow White's coffin, the tower from which Rapunzel hung her braids and the house of candy from Hansel and Gretel. Several well-known fairy tales populraized by Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm, better known as the Brothers Grimm illustrated, including Puss in Boots, Thumbelina, Cinderella. In Denmark The Flying Trunk of Hans Christian Andersen is pictured. Also shows home towns of the Brothers Grimm and other German folklorists such as Ludwig Bechstein (1801-1860), Wilhelm Hauff (1802-1827).
