Abstract:	The purpose of this guide is to demonstrate how to use data-driven safety analyses to improve safety on Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) roadways. Sections include: (1) Describing TxDOT district safety issues, including using data and graphing to analyze crash trends; (2) Screening the network to identify locations with potential for safety improvement; (3) Prioritizing targeted categories of safety improvements; and (4) Integrating safety into the project development process using suitable safety assessments.
