Item Description:	"No.16"--Top right corner. Shows boundaries, rivers, main roads and settlements. Edinburgh meridian. Relief shown pictorially. Thomas Kitchin provided the maps for "Geographia Scotiæ" a Scottish county atlas, first published in 1748 as a companion volume to Geographia Magnae Britanniae, which came out the same year. There was a second edition of the work in 1756. The Cushing Library copy is part of the Ronald L. and V. Jane Woellhof Rare Map Collection.
